School Hours

All children will attend one or other of the following sessions. Please try to arrive on time, we close the door at 9.15 for safeguarding purposes in the AM.  We close the main door at 1. 00 PM  for safeguarding purposes in the afternoon. The timings are in place  to help parents who need to drop off and pick up siblings at other schools. Being late either dropping off or picking up causes disruption to learning and distress to children, they get really upset not having time to separate positively or being the last to be collected.

Three and Four year old's receive 15 hours free education; either morning or afternoon.

Morning Session

Doors open from 3.15pm to support collection of siblings from other schools. 

​

The Government has introduced 30 hours of free nursery provision for working families.  We have allocated 20 Full places for this scheme on a first come first served basis.  For more information go to: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

All other full time places, to a cap of 25, will be allocated using the following criteria:

• Children referred to us by, health visitors, St. Mary’s Hospital Child Development Team, doctors, social services, education welfare services, the educational psychologist etc.

We also provide extended day provision for children attending the nursery school.  Fees are charged for these sessions, but are liable to refund under the Government Childcare Tax Credit initiative.

All provision charged at £ 2.00 per half hour.
